Family is very important
Muslim girls might avoid direct interaction with males (such as being in a group with all boys) if they are raised in a traditional setting-Build a classroom where the students can feel safe and secure
Engage them in literacy
Arabs are non confrontational and will avoid arguments at any cost
Arab parents may award teachers with a high degree of control over their students (follows their beliefs that an adult is an authoritative figure)
Students’ self perception is closely related to the standards that the teacher holds the student to
Academic choices of Arab children often reflect the choices of the parents, not the student’s personal choice
